Ready to Start Your Journey?

Not sure where to start? One way to start Global Competency steps is through digital platforms. Technology has increased the need for our us to be globally competent.

ePals is an online community for learners and their teachers to do collaborative projects, discussion and more! This looks like a site my students would love to check out.  Working with other students from around the globe can be very motivating and powerful.

Padlet is an online "bulletin board" that learners can collaborate and share with each other. It can be done using visuals, not just writing which is great for younger learners and second language learners. It's interactive and an interactive way to check for understanding, and promote dialogue.

Google Earth can be used to facilitate global scavenger hunts, collaborative storytelling, explore historical events and landmarks and more! It takes maps and geography to the next level!
